I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education, and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher or therapist.
I have full knowledge of the dangers and risks involved in my participation in the activities provided by Elizabeth Yates and agree to accept any and all such risks and dangers and I hereby assume all responsibility for such risks and dangers. My participation in this activity is completely voluntary.
Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. I hereby agree to irrevocably release from all liability, agree to waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against Elizabeth Yates, her family members or any of her relatives for any and all personal injury, death, property damage, or loss of any kind sustained by me as a result of my participation in the yoga therapy or instruction I receive from Elizabeth Yates.
To support your experience, please arrive on time to relax and enjoy. Arriving late will hinder your experience and shorten your session with me.
Our time together is valuable, should you need to cancel or reschedule your Yoga Therapy session, please contact me within 24 hours. If your appointment is cancelled in less than 24 hours, I will be unable to refund or make up your session. A 100% fee will be requested for cancellations under 24 hours unless there is a personal emergency.
Payment is requested in full at time of selection of your Yoga Therapy services. All services through Elizabeth Yates are non-refundable.
In case of inclement weather, Elizabeth will contact her clients early in the morning.
Dress in comfortable exercise clothing, and in cool weather, dress in layers. Come well hydrated. All props are supplied.
